City of Chorzów hosted Polish Cup for Seniors - Memorial of Soshu Shigeru Oyama. Tournament was organized by Slaski Klub Karate Goliat with its leader, Sensei Jerzy Walaszczyk 4th dan. Tournament gathered 40 elite competitors from 17 clubs.

The final of the 16th Krakow OYAMA Karate Olympiad for Children took place in Krakow-Poland. The tournament was organized by Krakowski Club OYAMA with its leader Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan. Over 950 children took part in the competition.

The 21st Polish OYAMA Karate Championships in KUMITE was held in Rzeszów. Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan, the President of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation took patronage over the championships. Tournament was organized by Klub Sportowy Oyama Rzeszów and its leader Sensei Patrycjusz Mostek 3rd dan. Around 330 female and male fighters, representing 36 clubs, took part in the championships.

On June, 12th 2016 Lubsko (Poland) held a 10th Polish-German Tournament in Kata and Kobudo, with over 70 participants representing Oyama and Shotokan styles. Krakow hosted an All Polish Oyama Karate Seminar focusing on kumite, self-defense and refereeing in Knockdown. During one day schooling around 120 participants including chief of clubs, instructors, referees and fighters from Poland mastered new techniques and exercises. During the seminar Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan - Chairman of OYAMA PKF handed the trophies for the laureate of the Polish OYAMA Karate Ranking in 2014.

An International Schooling-Qualifying Seminar OYAMA Karate took place in Saint Petersburg. Seminar was led by Soshu Shigeru Oyama 10th dan and the Director of OYAMA IKF, Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th Dan. Meeting was attended by the representatives from Russia, Poland, Germany and Ukraine. During the schooling Grand Master thought Kanku-Dai.

The 19th Polish OYAMA Karate Championships in KUMITE was held in Andrychów. The Embassy of Japan in Poland, Mr Tomasz Zak the Mayor of City Andrychow and Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan, the President of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation took patronage over the championships. Tournament was organized by Malopolski Klub Karate and its leader Sensei Jacek Kasperek 4th dan. Around 430 female and male fighters, representing 43 clubs, took part in the championships.

They represent knockdown karate clubs from many regions of Russia, as well as Estonia. In days 25-26 May 2013 year, Vitebsk - Belarus hosted the 4th European Open Oyama Karate Championships in: Knockdown, Semi-knockdown and Kata. The organizer of this event was The OYAMA Karate Organization of Belarus with Sensei Igor Yurkevich 3rd Dan. Thirteen different organizations from 8 countries including : Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Germany, Hungary and Azerbaijan were represented at the tournament. European Championships gathered over 320 competitors.

Polish Team gave a great performance during the DAGEKI World Championships in Contact Karate in Montreal. Roman Misiaszek and Dominik Rzepka won silver medals additionally Anna Majczak won a bronze in knockdown. Besides that Polish female competitor won a gold medal in kata competing against excellent participants fromKyokushin and Kanreikai. Many organizations were represented as well as 14 countries.

Soshu conducted two kata trainings and a black belt test as a part of 15th International Schooling-Qualifying Seminar in Poland. Sensei Danuta Karczewska 1st Dan is a valued Oyama karate instructor in Katowice, Poland. She is a doctor of theoretical astrophysics and also conducts studies in biology and the growth of trees. Sensei is a fan of distant travel and adventures. Papua New Guinea is a land of a paradise birds and university studies but not exclusively. She also teaches self defense!

Between May 14-15th 2011, OYAMA International Karate Federation organized Open European Championships in kata, knockdown and semi-knockdown. Tournament took place in Johvi-Estonia. Mr Aivar Surva, Mayor of Mäetaguse Parish Government and Hanshi Jan Dyduch, Chairman of OYAMA IKF took patronage over the tournament. Sensei Valeriy Savitskiy 3rd dan from the Estonian Oyama Karate Federation organized this tournament that gathered around 170 competitors. Eight countries participated in the tournament. We had representatives from: Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Germany, Ireland and Azerbaijan.

The 11th Polish Cup OYAMA TOP in knockdown took place in Kozienice. The event was organized by Nadwislanski Klub Sportow Walki WULKAN with its leader Sensei Andrzej Suwala 3rd dan. Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan, President of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation took patronage over the tournament. About 40 female and male fighters, representing 16 Oyama karate clubs, took part in Polish Cup.

Polish representatives from OYAMA PKF did a great job at the DAGEKI Karate World Championships in Montreal. They won seven medals, 6 gold and one bronze!!! Roaring success was achieved by Anna Majczak who won three gold medals in: kata, kobudo (weapon kata) and knockdown. Gold medals in kumite were won by: Piotr Cieśliński, Dominik Rzepka and Łukasz Łuczyński. Anna Jermaków won the bronze medal and Łukasz Światowski got the 4th place.

Grand Master Shigeru Oyama 10th dan paid a visit in Krakow, invited by OYAMA Polish Karate Federation. He conducted a seminar and a two day black belt test. Nearly 300 instructors and students from Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, USA, Germany, Ireland , Azerbaijan and Iran participated in this event. Meeting was organized with a support from The City of Krakow, in the Com-Com Zone Sports Hall.

Annual Junior and Senior Polish Oyama Karate Cup in Semi-knockdown took place in Łask. The competion was under the patronage of Mr Włodzimierz Fisak- the Marshall of the Łodz Province and Hanshi Jan Dyduch - the President of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation. About 180 female and male fighters took part in the competition. They represented 35 clubs of the Oyama karate, Kyokushin-Tezuka Group and Kyokushin Matsushima.

The 3rd Global Point & K.O. Karate-do Tournament, under the auspices of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan (MEXT) took part in Tokyo. At the invitation of the Grand Master Katsuaki Sato, representation of four from OYAMA Polish Karate Federation with its leader Hanshi Jan Dyduch arrived in Tokyo. The Polish Fighter Roman Oraczko-Misiaszek, in the impressive style, won the 4th place as well as the cup of William Oliver for the Most Courageous Fighter of the Tournament. Congratulations, OSU !

During a two-day meeting, Soshu Shigeru Oyama 10th dan conducted a spectacular training for a group of 300 children in the Winter Stadium and two special trainings regarding fighting tactics and Seienchin kata. The creator of the OYAMA style tested 27, 1st and 2nd dan candidates. Jan Dyduch was granted the 8th dan Master black belt and a title of Hanshi from Grand Master Shigeru Oyama.

In Kazimierz Biskupi near Konin were held the 6th Polish Championships of OYAMA PKF in Full Contact Karate. The competition was organized by the Koniński Klub Sztuk Walki (Konin Martial Arts Club) and the municipality of Kazimierz Biskupi. 58 male and female fighters, representing 18 OYAMA Karate clubs took part in the competition. The championships were at a very good both sports and organizational level, providing audience with a lot of satisfaction.

Representatives of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation acquitted themselves very well during Kanrekai World Karate Championship in Danbury Connecticut, USA. Dawid Kiszycki in the impressive style, won a gold medal in a heavy weight category, defeating in the final fight Kamil Maras (USA, Kyokushin IFK). Tomasz Krysiak after a fierce won a silver medal in the middle weight category.

The 2nd Oyama Karate Championships of Brandenburg took place in Cottbus, October 17th 2009. The tournament gathered over 80 competitors from Germany and Poland. Besides the competitors from Oyama style we had competitors from Kyokushinkai from Berlin. Doitsu-Budo Kwai e. OYAMA IKF European Cup was held from May 16 to 17 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The tournament was divided into the following categories: Kata, Semi-knockdown and Knockdown. About 340 competitors participated in the tournament, among them foreign guests, the representatives of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Canada, Germany, USA, Japan, Estonia, France and Belgium . The host of this prestigious event was Bydgoski Klub Oyama Karate PAŁAC.

Lubski Karate Sports Club OYAMA organized "Polish - German Weekend with Oyama Karate" for both children and parents. Polish-German Karate Championships in Kata and Kobudo were organized within the frameworks of the event. Competitiors were the representatives of: Shotokan and Oyama, Cottbus (Germany) as well as participants from six Polish centers of OYAMA karate. Board of referees, led by Sensei Christin Herold from Germany, deftly fulfilled their duties. Day after, a bivouac was organized for the parents of karate fighters from Poland and Germany i.a. adults had a chance to compete in different funny games.

Representatives of OYAMA Polish Karate Federation took part in an international competition YUKAN Ultimate Karate Championships in Montreal. The fighters won 4 medals: 1 gold and 3 silver. The best one of Poles was Łukasz Światowski who won his gold medal in a very good style. Silver medals were won by: Anna Kołodziej-Plewka, Damian Krupka and Dawid Kiszycki. The 15th Polish OYAMA Karate Kata Champion- ships took place in Wrocław. 240 participants from 31 clubs took part in the tournament.
