SEMINAR IN GERMANY
On November 19, 2022 in Bonn, in the beautiful former capital of West Germany, the OYAMA Karate Seminar was held. Local Budokan Club Bonn e.V led by Sensei Janusz Bawol, who has been a member of our Organization for 4 years, hosted Shihan Andrzej Tomiałowicz 5 dan, OYAMA IKF Country Representative in Germany. The COVID-19 epidemic, has slowed down the activities of Budokan Bonn just like it did to many other clubs. However, for several months Sensei Bawol has resumed regular training, which resulted in, among others, Saturday's event and kyu exam. The seminar was also attended by Sensei and Sempai from the befriended branch of Seido Bonn e.V.

Participants of a Seminar in Bonn
Shihan Tomiałowicz highly appreciated the work of Sensei Janusz and those who passed the exam. During the seminar, which lasted several hours, the participants learned about sports fighting combinations, characteristic of Oyama karate. They took part in exercises introducing them to their more effective use, using large and small pads. The last part of the seminar was devoted to the utilitarian side of Oyama karate, which gave the participants a new perspective on the real fighting scenarios.
