POLISH KYOKUSHIN AND OYAMA KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Photo Radosław Dyduch On April 12, 2025, Toruń hosted the Polish KYOKUSHIN and OYAMA Karate Championships, the result of a collaboration between the Polish Kyokushin Karate Federation, the OYAMA Polish Karate Federation and the Kyokushin Nakamura International Organization. The tournament also welcomed representatives from other organizations, invited by the host - the Toruń Kyokushin Karate Club, under the leadership of Shihan Artur Wilento, 5th Dan. OYAMA PKF was proudly represented by Hanshi Jan Dyduch, 9th Dan; Saiko Shihan Andrzej Pierzchała, 8th Dan; and Shihan Paweł Pajdak, 7th Dan, who served as the tournament’s Chief Referee. ![]() Morning opening ceremony. Photo Radosław Dyduch During the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of OYAMA PKF presented Artur Wilento with a congratulatory letter, expressing heartfelt thanks for organizing the Championships. The competition brought together 395 female and male athletes from 69 Oyama and Kyokushin Karate clubs, competing fiercely across five mats. ![]() Junior matches underway.
