NATIONAL OYAMA KARATE SEMINAR IN KUMITE

On October 8, 2022, in Krakow, the National OYAMA Seminar of the Polish Karate Federation in Kumite was held, with the participation of over 200 people including the heads of centers, technical training managers, judges, black belts and a wide team of juniors and seniors. Under the leadership of Hanshi Jan Dyduch 8th dan, the classes were conducted by outstanding and titled Polish OYAMA Karate trainers: Shihan Andrzej Pierzchała 7th dan (Krakow), Shihan Andrzej Tomiałowicz 5th dan (Lubsko), Shihan Dariusz Szulc 5th dan (Piotrków Trybunalski) and Sensei Patrycjusz Mostek 4 dan (Rzeszów).

During the opening ceremony of the Seminar, Hanshi Dyduch introduced the lecturers of individual classes, emphasizing their high professional competences and sports and training successes. The first training was conducted by Shihan Andrzej Pierzchała 7th dan, presenting exercises and specialized techniques with the use of tennis balls. In terms of sports combat and self-defense. Sensei Patrycjusz Mostek 4th dan presented advanced combinations and exercises in Kumite training with an emphasis on footwork in sports combat.

The third class with the use of training shields in Oyama karate sports training, with the participation of one or more partners, was conducted by Shihan Dariusz Szulc 5th dan. He was assisted by Sensei Jakub Kowalik 3rd dan.

The fourth training with the use of techniques and combinations of Oyama karate fighting in utilitarian conditions was conducted by Shihan Andrzej Tomiałowicz 5th dan. He was assisted by Sensei Mateusz Łanda 3rd dan.
